When should I complete the MDAC?
You must submit the MDAC within 3 days before your arrival in Malaysia. Submitting earlier than this is not accepted.
Do I still need a visa if I complete the MDAC?
Yes. The MDAC is not a visa. If your nationality requires a visa to enter Malaysia, you must obtain it separately. The MDAC is an additional entry requirement.
Can I apply for someone else (child, senior, or family member)?
Yes. You may complete the MDAC on behalf of another traveler, including minors or elderly family members. The traveler must still present themselves at immigration with their passport and MDAC.
Do I need to print my MDAC?
Printing is optional. You can present your MDAC digitally on a mobile device at immigration, but carrying a printed copy is recommended in case of technical issues.
